3mm Ag-Cu alloy Ag80Cu20 For Electrical contact materials

The copper content in the silver-copper alloy is different, the the color is different.This alloy has fine crystals, no brittleness, and better wear resistance than pure silver. Its outstanding feature is strong resistance to sulfide.

Used as electrical contact materials are AgCu5, AgCu7.5, AgCu10, AgCu15, AgCu20, AgCuNi20-2, AgCu25, etc. It has good mechanical properties, wear resistance and welding resistance. It is mainly used as electrical contacts in high-voltage and high-current relay contacts and light and medium load circuits.

Used as main brazing materials are AgCu7.5, AgCu25, AgCu28, AgCu55, etc., and the AgCu28 is widely used.They have good conductivity, fluidity and wettability, and is widely used in the electric vacuum industry. Due to the low resistance to long-term load under high temperature, it is only suitable for brazing parts whose working temperature is lower than 400ºC.

Used as coins and decorations. The alloys used as coins are AgCu7.5, AgCu8, AgCu10, etc.; the alloys used as decorations are AgCu8.4, AgCu12.5, etc
