Product Description

For resistors Ni80Cr20 Nichrome ribbon

It an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1200° C (2190° F). It is also called Nikrothal 80, Chromel A, Nichrome V, Tophet A, Resistohm 80, NCHW-1. The alloy is characterized by good performance and extensive usage.

1. Performance: High resistivity, good oxidation resistance, very good form stability, good ductility and excellent weldability.

2. Application: It is widely used for electric heating elements in home appliances and industrial furnaces. And the typical applications are flat irons, ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements and cartridge elements.
